The registration key is used to authorize the Soundslides or Soundslides Plus application. You would have received a key via email if you purchased a license to Soundslides or Soundslides Plus.

Hi Joe,
I purchased a licence for Ss Plus in July this year. The PC laptop that I downloaded it onto has since died from viruses. Can I download it onto a new Mac I will purchase now using my registration key from July or do I have to purchase another licence?

Hey Peter,
The same license will work on your new Mac. I've re-sent the registration key to the email address we have on file for your license. You can download the Soundslides Plus for Mac installer from here:

That should take care of everything ...

I've been using my SSPlus all week and today it's asking me to register. I went to the retrieval page, received my info and entered it, but it now it says I have to register manually because of "connection error 500" --it says I should check my firewall set ups.
The link in the message doesn't work. What do I need to do next? I can't use SSPlus until this works.

Please try to update to the latest version of Soundslides Plus. Here are the links:

I'm upgrading my hard drive and reinstalling everything tomorrow, plus moving from Win XP64 to Win 7. Do I need to do anything in particular to uninstall SSPlus before I reinstall in under the new OS, or can I just use the same reg. key and install as normal?
