Topic: best of the best?

Does anyone know of a collection of samples of some of the very best audio slideshows ever created? There are many to choose from, and I've watched lots of great ones. I'd like to see what are considered the "masterpiece" examples (although I can attest that many I've seen fall in that category!)

I really like Will Yurman's work. He has used various slide production tools including SS. Take a look at his site where a number of his audio slideshows can be seen.

Some of my favorites from last year were Best of Photojournalism winners.

Here's the link to the 2007 winners' site:

Thanks for posting the NPPA site, Joe. That's terriffic. Those are outstanding. My clients, mostly non-profits, are just beginning to see the value of ss.

Thanks. I've seen the photojournalism winners... all great examples.
I haven't had the chance to see Will Yurman's work, but here's his site:  http://www.willyurman.com

Hello Joe,

Do you know if San Jose Mercury newspaper uses Soundslides on their webpage. I really liked what I saw, but I wasn't sure. Do you know.

Thanks,

Re: best of the best?

The Merc used it quite a bit, but most of their recent stuff is video, at least what's featured on the blog.  The last I heard they were converting their Soundslides slide shows to video files so they could use the same file format in their publishing system.

Most of the folks I knew there have left the paper, so I'm not sure.

Thanks Joe.
How about the InMotion essays on Magnum.

I really liked their presentation. Simple and neat.
