HTML5 Wordpress embed width problem

Whilst the following slideshow displays correctly in flash, I'm having a problem getting it to display correctly when using HTML5 on iPhone and iPad. Specifically, the slideshow frame appears too wide and so leaves two black bars down either side. Might this be a conflict in my own CSS, or is it something with the way I've embedded it?

Black border on right and bottom of show

Would appreciate any help. I've just updated the shell so show can be viewed on Ipad and as a result an unwanted black border has appeared on the right and bottom of my show when I've embedded it in my homepage.

I've probably overlooked something obvious but would appreciate any help.

I'm an editorial training manager for a major UK newspaper publisher and we are starting to do Soundslides in a big way on our websites. Many of our multi-media team often need some generic music as a bed for a presentation if the content gatherer has been unable to record any on location. Can anyone suggest a good site which has a good mix of royalty free music as well as sound effects without breaking the bank? Thankyou

Hi, just some background. i know basically nothing except how to edit the mypaper shell to contain my logo like this

Now I'd like to have the same logo on an html5 slideshow shell but have no idea if this is possible and how difficult it is to do. Any help would be gretly appreciated.

One step further, in an ideal world I'd like to be able to add FB/twitter buttons to the page for each slideshow, but fear it might be asking too much of my addled mind.

Under captions in HTML5 shell?

Hello,

I would like to place the captions below the slideshow like in the "undercaptions" shell, but in the "html5_compatible" shell.

Can I add a line of code to the index.html file inside the shell folder to make this happen?

Stand-alone, offline Soundslides show without converting to video?

I want to use Soundslides to make some slideshows for use in a museum display; is it possible to create a stand-alone, offline Soundslides show without converting to video? I know I'd lose panning/zooming movement in stills if I went for that option. I've had a quick look in the manual but can't see anything so far. Is it as simple as uploading all the files onto the museum's computer hard drive and playing at full screen from a browser? Or would there need to be adjustments to settings made for browsers or within Flash Player?

No skip in the corners of the images?

I have created a slideshow with Soundslides and embedded them via
the embedding tool from your website (embed flash code).
Everything works fine but there is a problem that if I click on
the upper left corners of the images there is no skip to the next images.
I have to click in the middle of each image to skip forward.

I want that I can click ANYWHERE in the image to skip.

autoplay in html5

Hi Joe,
I have set my SS to outplay without buttons, which it does in flash, but in html5 on iPads and iPhones the user must activate the play button, and the controls show.
is there any way of changing the script so my embedded SS plays automatically without buttons/controls on an iPad and iPhone?

Fullscreen: Unable to see previous photo

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with Soundslides in fullscreen mode in non-audio slideshows (haven't tried with audio slideshows). When entering fullscreen mode and clicking the arrow to see the previous photo, the slideshow freezes in the current photo being displayed. If I exit fullscreen, the issue keeps happening.

However, the weird thing is: if I switch to another tab in my browser and return to the slideshow tab after a while (say 15 seconds), the problem will no longer occur and I can switch photos normally.

Tested in Google Chrome/Safari (OS-X Snow Leopard).

Please let me know if you'd like additional info.

Just a heads up for everyone!
I just received an email from the Soundslides forum Mailer, naming "suodione" and stating he had posted a reply to my topic in the forum. The url reference was invalid even though it took me to Forum's error page.
Suspect this is a scam artist so ignore those emails, as he has been banned.
